Screenplay or Script
Why go with script over screenplay? I think it covers more ground by covering more mediums. Scriptcollective also sounded better and was a little shorter to write.
Screenplay is a very movie focused term. It suggests that you have to write an entire feature to qualify. Script collective wants to look at a broader spectrum. Not just TV, but video games, comedy skits etc.
One issue is that scripts also seem to bring up computer coding "scripts", medical "scripts" and "scripts" vs. bloods... oh wait that would be crips...
Off on a tangent there - always a good thing to throw in a script to keep viewers on their toes. Bringing tangent back through a later scene to add to the movie (show?) is always the kicker though. Now that I've said that I have no idea how i'm going to bring gangs back into this post. Never mind.
